Tree Removal in Branson

When a tree is dead, failing or can't be made safe, it comes down carefully, without harming the house, the lawn or the trees around it.

If pruning or a cable can make a tree safe, Jacob will tell you before he prices taking it down.

A tree usually needs to come out because it is dead, structurally failing, leaning toward the house, or growing into something it should not. When there is room, the tree comes down whole into the yard. When a house, a deck, the dock or a power line is under it, our climbers take it down in sections and lower each piece on a rope so nothing lands on what you want to keep.

Lots around Branson and the lake are steep, and plenty of yards will not take a truck. Jacob looks at how we get to the tree before he prices it, because the way in changes the job more than the size of the tree does.

If a tree is touching a power line, we coordinate with the electric company. The utility makes the line safe and clears within 10 feet of it, and our crew takes the tree down from there.

Cleanup is part of the job. The brush goes through the chipper into our chip trucks, and the wood goes on the wood truck or gets moved with the grapple and the mini skid. The wood can stay for firewood, or as a slab from an old tree to keep; we leave it where you want it. The chips go back into the ground as mulch, free for your beds if you want them.

When a Tree Is Too Big to Lower

Some trees are too big to lower by rope or stand so close to the house that there is nowhere to set the wood down. For those a crane lifts each piece out over the roof. See Crane Removals.

What's Included

  • Dead, leaning and storm damaged trees
  • Trees over roofs, decks, docks and boathouses
  • Taken down in sections and lowered when something is under them
  • Brush chipped and wood hauled
  • Free wood chips if you want them

What Changes the Price

Removal is priced per tree after Jacob sees it. A tree we can drop in the yard costs less than the same tree over the house, because sectioning and lowering takes longer and needs more rope and more hands.
