Forsyth is the Taney County seat, on Bull Shoals Lake just below Powersite Dam, where Lake Taneycomo ends. Up the river toward Branson, Merriam Woods and Rockaway Beach line the shore of Taneycomo.
A lot of homes here are on wooded hillsides and bluffs over the water. When a big oak over a roof or a dead tree on a steep bank has no room to fall, it gets climbed and taken apart from the top. Bull Shoals shoreline is Corps of Engineers land, and trees on it need the Corps to sign off first.
Wherever the tree is, the approach is the same. Jacob Perkins, an ISA Certified Arborist, looks at it first. Pruning is done to the ANSI A300 standards, and when a tree can be kept healthy and safe, he tells you how before anything comes down.
