Strafford is east of Springfield along I-44 and old Route 66. On the county's parcel map, close to half the homes around Strafford are on acreage outside any subdivision. In town it is usually a tree over a roof. Out on the acreage it is fence rows, pasture edges and land clearing.
On acreage the trouble is usually along the fence rows and the drive, with limbs over the driveway or a dead tree leaning toward a barn. Cedars crowd the fields too.
Wherever the tree is, the approach is the same. Jacob Perkins, an ISA Certified Arborist, looks at it first. Pruning is done to the ANSI A300 standards, and when a tree can be kept healthy and safe, he tells you how before anything comes down.
